“懒惰”死

有种死法，在目前的国内还不是很能被接受，那是“安乐死”的死法，执行者并不能保证被“安乐死”的当事人真的是为了追求快乐而愿意接受执行的，万一，当事人是被迫的，那将成为谋杀，万一当事人是个犯人，在误判之后被执行了“安乐死”，而不是西方一些国家的长期徒刑（可能是128年），那么，冤屈将永世不得翻身……
但是，把“安乐死”与“懒惰死”拿来相比较，我们很容易联想到温水煮青蛙的故事，而现实生活中，尤其是目前竞争日益激烈，工作、机会日趋不稳定的时候，“温水”的环境倒是很难找到，比较易被我们同样当做“温水”处理的是什么呢？那则是我们普通人因为“恐惧改变”而“被迫”对自己实施“温水”的“自溺”死刑。
举例子好了，大学刚毕业接近一年的时候，有一位土木工程专业的同学那时做出了一个决定，辞职考研，且不说理智与否的问题，从这件事上我们能了解到的信息是–他已经足够痛苦，而且采取了措施，决定了不再在他不满的环境下度过安逸、没有“激情”的余生，学习基础并不出色的他毅然决然选择了继续进修，这是个正面的例子。而另外还有一例一直纠结于“是否要因为贪恋大城市的繁华而留在北京”的时候，那同学并没有采取什么措施，相反，他只是日复一日地重复着打工、居无定所，收入不稳定、不知为何而奔跑的折磨，最终全然不记得是为何留在所在的三尺办工作，生怕有朝被“炒掉”。
与这两个实例相近的还有一个典型的故事例子，其实这是一则比较有智慧性问题：
请问：当你手中拿着一个烧红了的热铁时，你会做什么？
答：？
或许是：立刻丢掉
或许是：放手
……
当然，这都是决定，无论好坏都知道自己存在于一个危险的环境中，并且必须采取一些措施，逃离痛苦。“温水”对于青蛙，还是“工作”，“学习”对于一个无法采取改变措施的人来说，都一样，那则是：无法预计到自己的痛苦，对痛苦的体验不够深刻，懒得去设想未来的痛苦，懒得去做一些逃离痛苦的事情，所以，我们把青蛙之死的案例称为“温水煮青蛙”，那把清楚自己的处境却不敢“逃离痛苦”的人的发展称为“懒惰死”也就理当不过分了。
I do enjoy the way you have presented this specific challenge plus it does give me a lot of fodder for consideration. However, from everything that I have witnessed, I simply hope when the reviews pile on that folks continue to be on point and not embark upon a soap box of the news of the day.
