兴趣的发现和警示

兴趣的发现，如题，这是个过程，没有哪一个婴儿生出来脸上就贴了标签：我适合长跑。当然不是谁是早产儿就是和长跑，那倒完全有可能是个痴呆儿。同样，也没有哪一个母亲可以通过面相或生活习性发现她孩子的兴趣是不是适合做大厨，是不是适合做计算机程序员。就算是巴布奇、图灵（Alan Mathison Turing）都不知道自己因兴趣在研究的那个东西还以什么称呼，后来人就把那个物件称为了“计算机”。
很早的时候，我的所有时间都专注在数学的解题步骤和时间上，不过偶尔会在门口摆个小桌写写书法，那时大概八九岁，初中时期的数学算不得突出了，便会自觉地阅读一些文字，来充实那颗对世界充满问号的心，后来一时间竟得了些大奖，发表了一些文章，甚至去北京面见了雷洁琼、汪国真那样真正的文人，去了之后一时间竟又冷却下来，高中时期在数理化中慢慢解析，大学期间在准备出国的过程中接触许多国外书籍，尤其注意到了心理学方面，便大为震惊，研究起了英语和心理学，出国和土木工程这两件看似比较重要的事情便随着毕业就暂停了，为了能够进入当时最大的XDF培训机构去完成英语的另类学习，我接受了教授语文的工作，因为教授语文是曾经的专长，所以可以拿来糊口，那正是当时的一家分校所亟需的。
机构亟需的并不一定是社会亟需的，社会可能还不知道你已经有了适合它的产品，所以一段时间内我是比较悠闲的，也就是无收入的，正因为借机参与了上海另一家培训机构的集训营，探取了一些组织、程序上的秘密，回到岗位上便被要求去负责一个寒假特训营的开展……是不是兴趣引发了许多本可以使兴趣良好发展、却阴差阳错地被迫选择与兴趣背离的事物呢？ 那是二十来岁的我，当时一直在猜测和忍受的事情，我知道我所在的兴趣以及该做的事情，却一直不断地激发出新的兴趣和新的“该做的事情”……
那么，好吧，能得知的是三件事情：
一、兴趣是可以培养的
二、兴趣是可以变化的
三、兴趣是在不断的实践中改变的
也就是说，如果你想在一个领域中，一方面兴趣上有所成就，要么就坚持不嫌要么就索性不要去涉及另一方面的事情，倘若一旦发现了新奇的事物便改变了想法，那何时是个终了，我们则难以成为专家，顶多不过是个终身的“学生”，如不能善始善终的掰玉米的小猴子一样了。

There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
