拆旧词，做新解

自古“徳才兼备”兼备者才被人尊崇，为什么“德”放在“才”的前面，而不是“才德兼备”，可见“德”更被重视。
用自己所理解的观念对旧词进行新解，把旧词拆开、归类、作比较。德才兼备，在语法上是不分先后的并列词在文言成语里叫做同义复用，和“手足之情”、“危难之间”、“简贤选能”类似。这提醒了在写作上，表达自己的新观念时，可以将其“掰开”强加先后顺序予以解释，以显示“独特的见解”。
与同义复词相对应的还有偏义复词，比如：
稍迁太常博士，多所 损 益，时人称为“书库”。
（“损益”，“损”、“益”义相反，偏于“益”）
母卒，庐于冢侧，动静 以礼，……
（“动静”，“动”、“静”义相对，偏于“动”）
同样，可以“照猫画虎”发掘新的写作技巧。
